Midtown Village

Quality, affordable housing for area seniors will occupy Midtown Village, meeting a critacl need in the Holland area. The transformation of the former E. E. Fell building on River Avenue will combine historical integrity with high quality comfort and conveniece.

Former classrooms will become cosy one and two bedroom apartments ranging from 850 to 1,000 square feet. The need for affordable senior housing was recently substantiated by independent market studies and community focus groups.

Rental rates will be under $700 a month, including utiltities. Those qualifying for housing will have incomes up to $35,000, which is representative of more than 75% of our communities senior population.

Management and maintenance of the facility will be provided through a partnership with Dwelling Place, a Grand Rapids-based non-profit with an impeccable reputation for providing affordable housing in revitalized neighborhoods
